Katie White.
Fighting for Adel & Wharfedale, Guiseley & Rawdon, Otley & Yeadon, and Horsforth

My name is Katie White. I'm the Labour Party MP for Leeds North West, which is a new parliamentary constituency bringing together Otley & Yeadon, Guiseley & Rawdon, Adel & Wharfedale and Horsforth.
I was born in Adel and grew up there. My youth was spent climbing Otley Chevin, doing ballet classes in Horsforth and learning to swim at Holt Park. I count myself incredibly fortunate to have been able to live most of my life in this beautiful part of Yorkshire.
I know how to make things happen. It takes Yorkshire grit. Twenty years ago, I led the campaign that created Britain’s first Climate Change Act. Change happens when we fight for it. I’ve spent my life fighting for change, and I want to use that energy and determination to make things better for our community.
You’ll find me every day in Adel, Horsforth, Rawdon, Yeadon, Guiseley or Otley if you want a word. Me or one of the team has probably knocked on your door already in the last few weeks. I want to hear what matters most to you.
